We arrived to Bruges around 7:00pm (or should I say 19h00), a small medieval town surrounded by surprisingly modern suburbs. To get into the city you have to drive on a bridge over a moat and enter through two towers. It looks like a movie. Friday night was relatively uneventful, and Saturday morning we woke up and began exploring the city by foot. We wandered the streets for about two hours, seeing all the main sights (town squares, cathedrals, etc.) while the weather switched from like blizzard like conditions to grey skies to moments of pure sunshine. It was the strangest weather of my time abroad thus far. By 2:00pm we were on the road headed to Luxembourg.
