Bonjour, Oui, Merci

This is the extent of my French. Before leaving, I didn’t even consider what language was spoken in Geneva, but quickly I’ve learned it is French. My first instinct when trying to speak to people is to revert to Spanish, but I quickly have to remind myself that it’s French I need to be speaking. I corrected many a “Si” with a “Oui” today at the Farmer’s Market when trying to buy lunch from various vendors.
